About Starboy. Web3 & AI Growth Agency
Starboy is a growth agency built for Web3 and AI teams who treat distribution as architecture, not advertising. We work with founders who understand that attention compounds, narrative is infrastructure, and the difference between a community and a crowd is everything. Our practice spans community, content, KOL strategy, business development, and ecosystem partnerships. The work is run by operators who have lived inside these markets long enough to know what moves them, and what only appears to.
How we started
Starboy began the way most enduring things in crypto begin. Slowly, in public, and largely by accident.
Pragyan had spent seven years building communities and shipping product before the agency had a name. In 2019, he turned his attention to what was then still a fringe technology, and stayed. The years that followed were spent the way these things are usefully spent. Lurking in group chats, posting under pseudonyms, watching cycles arrive and depart, learning the difference between work that travels and work that merely circulates.
The first engagements were Zebec Protocol and Nautilus, where we ran community and content through their formative growth phases. Zebec raised over forty million dollars. Nautilus established its position. Both confirmed a quiet thesis. Growth, in this market, is not a service one purchases. It is a sensibility one either has or one does not. When the people running it have spent years inside the culture, the work compounds. It produces conviction, which is the only currency that matters in markets built on belief.
The founding observation was straightforward. Web3 teams kept hiring agencies that did not understand the medium. People who had never built a community, never written a post that found its audience, never spent a sleepless night reading sentiment in a Telegram channel. Growth was being treated as a vendor relationship. It is not. The same mistake is now being made with AI, by the same kinds of agencies, with the same predictable results.
Starboy was built in opposition to that pattern. An agency staffed by people who live inside these markets, ship in public, and treat distribution as the product it actually is.
What sets us apart
One. We understand how growth works in this market.
It is a deceptively simple claim. Most agencies treat Web3 and AI as adjacent verticals, applying playbooks borrowed from SaaS or consumer technology. The playbooks do not transfer. Growth in these markets runs on attention, narrative, and timing. It cannot be learned from a curriculum. It is acquired by spending years inside the conversation, watching what works and what only looks like it should.
"They understand how growth works in crypto. Not many agencies can say that honestly.". Justin Knox, Head of Marketing, Jito Labs
Two. We write in the founder's voice.
A founder's voice is the most underused asset in any technology company, and the hardest one to outsource. Most agencies cannot write it. They lack either the cultural fluency or the restraint, and the result reads like a press release from a company nobody trusts. We have ghostwritten for founders during their most important moments. The work is built to read like them, sound like them, and produce the kind of personal credibility that makes fundraising and recruiting measurably easier. It is a craft, not a content calendar.
Three. We operate at the cadence of the teams we serve.
There is no extended onboarding. There is no strategy document delivered six weeks before anything ships. The first post, the first call, the first conversation with a key voice typically happens within the opening week. If something is not working, we end it and try the next thing. Most agencies cannot operate at the pace these markets demand, and so they sell process in place of momentum. We have always preferred the latter.

Who we work with
Founders building in Web3 and AI who care about how the work reads, not just whether it shipped. Teams who would rather have one operator who understands the room than five who require briefing into it. Companies who treat their distribution like they treat their product, which is to say, seriously. We are not the right fit for everyone, and we prefer to be honest about it.
